About Dr. Dan Dr. Dan is a chiropractor dedicated to using cutting edge techniques to achieve the best health for his patients. Dr. Dan started his first practice in Indiana in the early 1960's when he practiced mostly the traditional manual manipulation techniques. He also included in his practice techniques that got the best results as there are over 33 different ways that chiropractors can practice. In 1980 he discovered a technique called the Activator Method. This method was helpful for patients who needed to be adjusted, but could not move injured muscles and ligaments. These patients were usually involved in car accidents or may be elderly and could not be adjusted manually without pain. As he became proficient in this method he discovered it worked for every patient, not just those who couldn't be manually adjusted. He has been practicing this method ever since. His son joined his practice in 1986, and they both continued to learn cutting edge chiropractic methods that gave the patients the best results. In 2000, Dr. Schneider relocated his practice to Ohio. He specializes in Activator Method, Endonasal Balloon Therapy and Decompression therapy. He is a medical provider for the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation.
